What is SEO?

Types of SEO

Ecommerce SEO is the process of making an online store more visible in search engineresults by including long descriptions and relevant keywords on the product page of every product.

White-Hat SEO

White Hat SEO involves the practice of any SEO techniques that use ethical techniques andfollow the ‘rules’.

Black Hat SEO

Black hat SEO refers to tactics that can be used to improve a website and/or page ranking on search engine results but the method tends to be unethical and go against search engine guidelines. Tactics such as keyword stuffing, cloaking and using private link networks are considered black hat SEO and can result in a penalty from the search engine.

Grey Hat SEO

Grey hat SEO is a mix of white hat and black hat SEO, and uses techniques that aren’t necessarily against guidelines but are considered not best practice. This could include purchasing backlinks.

How To Improve SEO

As mentioned above there are different types of SEO that each affect different aspects of Google and other search engines’ method of page ranking. SEO can be improved by
updating existing page content and ensuring it answers search queries, making sure your site is mobile-friendly, having backlinks from authority sites and fast load times. Although there are many other ways SEO ranking can be improved.
